City of Junction Texas

City of Junction Texas

Junction Texas is located in the Texas Hill Country where the North and South Llano Rivers merge.  Junction is also at the intersections of Highways 83/377 and Interstate 10.

Hunting is available year round in this small, rural town. A large variety of exotics, white tail deer, hogs, turkey, and varmint hunting. Short and long term leases are available - see Hunting on this website for more information.

River recreation is another year round advantage to living or visiting Junction. Activities include camping, fishing, fly fishing, kayaking, canoeing, tubing, and simply relaxing along the the Llano Rivers. The South Llano River State Park and paddling trail are popular attractions for locals and visitors.

Another highlight in Junction is the publically accesssible hill top view from the locally named hill "Lovers Leap". This is located off of Loop 481 and approximately one mile from the courthouse. The breathtaking view is one that you won't forget and provides serenity to have a moment of peace, appreciation, and meditation. Star lit nights are as amazing to view from Lovers Leap as the sunsets are phenomenal. Don't miss the opportunity to take the short trip up the hill and view Junction's beautiful scenic valley.
